Food Pantry

 People are in need of food all year ! Let’s make sure we have plenty of food on our pantry shelves to help hungry families! Please place your food items in the box in the Narthex. Thank you!!

*Please be sure to check the expiration dates on all items. Dates of expiration should be 6months or more.

August is pasta and snacks month. Suggestions include: Pasta, mac and cheese, spaghetti sauce, microwave popcorn and snacks.

Two Cents A Meal

Our Church family continues to donate to this effort to help feed families in need. Let’s continue to remember these  people and bring in your 2 cents a meal donations for 2017. Get the kids involved too!

As of July 7th we have collected $148.50.

This mission helps fund our Church Pantry which helps hungry families in need.

These are used for buying Seeing Eye dogs for people in need. Please start collecting these today!

Our church also collects soda can tabs and gently used eye glasses. A box of 27 pairs of glasses was just sent to New Eyes for the Needy. Our church has donated a total of 383 pairs of eyeglasses since 2002. All collection containers are in the narthex.

Clothes Closet

Summer weather is here!! We are now accepting summer clothing only. We need small and medium sizes for men, all sizes for women and boys, sizes 4-8. Shoes of all sizes are needed also.Due to limited space, we can only accept summer  items at this time. We are open on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm-7:00pm

Operation Christmas Child

Almost 100 shoe boxes were collected this year and were delivered to a local distribution center prior to sending them on their way to children all over the world for  Christmas 2016. Thank you to all who helped with this important Christmas mission. We can put smiles on faces and Jesus in the hearts of so many more children through this wonderful ministry!!

Mitten Tree

 Mittens, gloves, and hats were put on the tree in the fellowship hall and given to people in need.


This year we again supported the Christmas Adopt-A-Family Program. All gifts were delivered to a family in time for Christmas morning!  sheet. Please see Cheryl Nowak with any questions. It’s so great to know we helped a family in need feel the love of God through Elmer Presbyterian Church!
