Operation Christmas Child

We can put smiles on faces and Jesus in the hearts of so many more children through this wonderful ministry!!

Shoeboxes are in the narthex. For those who wish to participate, fill a box with basic recommended items: an assortment of soap, toothbrushes, hair brushes, school supplies, balls, small dolls or stuffed animals, socks, t-shirts, small cars. Boxes should be prepared for either a boy or girl (ages 2-4 years, 5-9 years, or 10-14 years of age).  NOTE: no toothpaste or candy due to customs regulations. Collection date is Sunday, November 4th. Sponsorships are needed now. $9.00 a box. Make checks out to Samaritan’s Purse.

One hundred thirteen shoe boxes were collected in 2017 and were delivered to a local distribution center prior to sending them on their way to children all over the world for  Christmas 2017. Thank you to all who helped with this important Christmas mission.

Clothes Closet

We are open on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Due to limited space, we are now accepting only winter clothing, including coats and blankets.

 Mitten Tree

Mittens, gloves and hats were put on the tree in the fellowship hall and given to people in need.

 Adopt-A-Family

We again supported the Christmas Adopt-A-Family Program. All gifts were delivered to a family in time for Christmas morning! It’s so great to know we helped a family in need feel the love of God through Elmer Presbyterian Church!
