EPC Egyptian pyramids 2017 EPC Mission Partners in Egypt

The 2017 Egyptian mission trip is scheduled for April 30th through May 12th.

While in Egypt, the plan is to visit with our two sister churches as well as approximately 25 Presbyterian pastors. Rev. Yousef will be traveling without church members this year due to increased threat of terrorist activity toward Americans tourists.

Please send a note of well wishes to Pastor Yousef: rev.yousef1@gmail.com

Financial contributions for the trip are welcome. This money will be used to support the churches and pastors in Egypt and will not be used to underwrite any travel expenses. Any questions may be directed to Cindy Strang.

Lets always keep our Mission Partners in Egypt in our prayers. As you know, during our 2016 mission trip to Egypt, we established a ministry partnership between the Elmer Presbyterian Church and two Presbyterian congregations in Egypt. Mansafis Presbyterian Church and El Gabal Presbyterian Church. May God use this partnership to grow His Kingdom here in the States and in the land of Egypt!

On May 22nd, Rev. Nady Labib will worship with us and deliver the message in Arabic and Rev. Yousef will translate to English. Rev. Labib attended seminary with Rev. Yousef in Cairo, Egypt and has remained his good friend and colleague. More recently, he hosted Rev. Yousef and Elder Paul Trumbull during their initial Egyptian mission trip last February. Following worship that day, there will be a covered dish luncheon hosted by the Fellowship and Outreach Committee. Please join us as we thank Rev. Yousef for his ministry to us and bid the Yousefs farewell and also greet Rev. Labib and thank him for his message and support for our Egyptian mission project.
